International events with international version of A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU
THE PHILIPPINES! Yes, I’m finally coming to the Philippines for real! I’ll be touring along with the fabulous Madeline Roux, with events in both Manila and Cebu City. Again, exact locations are still coming – but we’ll be there from Oct. 15-19.
US Events with red-hot new copies of A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU
First of all, the Compelling Reads Tour! Several terrific YA Series Insiders authors like Martina Boone, Kimberley Griffiths Little, S.E. Green and more (plus friends like Beth Revis, Jessica Spotswood, Diana Peterfreund, and Melissa Marr) will be touring along the East Coast. Follow the link to see each and every event, but I’ll be appearing at the following:
11/1 – Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC — 3 p.m.
11/2 – Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill, NC — 2 p.m.
11/3 – Malaprops Bookstore in Asheville, NC — 7 p.m.
11/4 – ImaginOn Library in Charlotte, NC — 4:30 p.m. — LAUNCH PARTY! Both Kimberley Griffiths Little (FORBIDDEN) and I will be celebrating our launches on that day, so come and celebrate with us! (I’ve never actually done a launch party before — I’m so excited.)
11/5 – Fiction Addiction in Greenville, SC — 5 p.m.
11/6 – Books-A-Million in Columbia, SC — 5 p.m.
I will reprint the full travel schedule and all the awesome authors appearing in a separate post within a few days, but this lets you know the basics for the ATPOY events of the tour. (And yes, even though I’m visiting those first three stores before the official launch date, Harper has agreed to send copies for early sale. So these will be the very first copies sold! Don’t you want one?)
And then, a couple weeks later, I’ll be appearing at the YALSA Symposium in Austin, TX on 11/14, but only those of you who are librarians will be at that one. 😀
More dates are coming up before too long — including, I think, another international event — but more on these stories as they develop. For now, you know where I’ll be, and I hope to see you there and then!
Eep! I’m actually going to be in Charleston, SC on that 11/6 date for YALL Fest. Wondering if I can get a bus or taxi ride to Columbia for the near 2 hour drive…not sure it’s doable since I’ll be on my own and flying. So may have to cross my fingers for my city to show up!

Maybe some YALLFest attendees could create a carpool! Which would be awesome.
At this point I’m not planning on going to YALLFest; I didn’t sign up, have no panels, etc., because by that point I will have been traveling for more than six weeks straight. It’s possible I might wind up going to Charleston to fly out of there, though, and so might make a party – I will keep folks posted!
