My big news! I’ll be publishing another novel with HarperTeen in fall/winter 2011 — no title yet, but it’s about a servant girl named Tess in 1912, who wants to escape from the house where she works, and most particularly the lecherous young lord of the manor. But that’s not her biggest problem. While on a voyage to America, where she plans to escape and start a new life, she meets Alec, who’s ruggedly handsome, fabulously wealthy, intelligent and yet so clearly troubled that she’d rather not fall for him, but she does. That also is not her biggest problem. Alec, it turns out, is a werewolf … one cursed to change every night, unless and until he surrenders his independence and joins the Brotherhood, a pack of violently misogynistic werewolves who have been tracking him for months. You’d think that would be their biggest problem, wouldn’t you?
But no. Their biggest problem — though they don’t know it yet — is that they’re aboard the RMS Titanic.
I hope you guys are going to enjoy this one! I’m so excited about it, I can hardly tell you. I’ve been fascinated by the Titanic forever, and while I enjoy werewolf stories, I never saw something I’d want to do that other writers weren’t already tackling. But by making it a historical novel, and delving into the mysterious past of the Brotherhood, I feel like it’s going to be so much fun.
More good news: This novel will not delay Balthazar’s book by even one day. Instead of having to wait the whole time between AFTERLIFE and the Balthazar story (title soon to be announced), you’ll have this book in-between. (And no, I can’t get them to release the EVERNIGHT series any faster, so bear with us, okay, guys?)
So two books instead of one in 2011! And this is my ninth sale, so I’m pretty thrilled. Hope you are too!
*Happy Dance*
I wondered as I was reading that if it was the Titanic. I mean, the year 1912 has been drilled in my mind since third grade, so I can’t see that year without associating it with the Titanic. Very excited. This book is going to be awesome! Any chance this will be another series? I like series!
wooooooooooooooooooooT (that was a werewolve “woot”)
Congratulations! I look forward to both the Balthazar book and the Werewolves.
WEREWOLVES ON THE TITANIC FTW.
Congratulations! So very happy for you!
woohooo! so excited to read it! Congrats!
YAY! I’m so excited 🙂 Congrats!!!!
Oh, wow! This is so cool to see someone take a werewolf out of the standard urban fantasy setting and put them in a totally fascinating environment. This book sounds like it’s going to be a killer.
BTW, have you read SP Somtow’s Moondance, which took werewolves into an American Western setting? If I remember correctly there was also a crossing over from the old world to the new.
I’m really looking forward to your novel. Please keep us up to date.
I think that “werewolves” will be fantastic!!. I will be waiting for new updates ;).

2) Stargazer
3) hourglass
4) Afterlife

wut are the names of the Balthazar book and the Vampire book?
someone please answer me, thnx!

Angelina..
I love your books sooo much,i love Evernight, but i think Stargazer is soo mch bettwr, but in the end you cant really pic a fav because there both so good in diffrent ways!
i really love Lucas Ross, But then again, i want Bianca and Balthazar together. I just want to see how they would be together if there was a chance. Balthzar seems like the perfect guy, and it would be amazeing seeing them together at least once. Just daiting, like Bianca and Lucas have been. It would be amazeing, its sorta like Twilight,i love Edward but i want to see Bella and Jacob together just to see how it would ork out if there was a chance, im sure if it was the other way around ( Bella was with Jacob in the begining) i would want to see her with Edward. So its like tht here, If Bianca was with Balthazar in the begining i would want her to be with Lucas a bit, but its opposite so i want to see her have a chnace with Balthazar.
COngrats on your books, you inspire me to read sooo much, without you, i would have never picked up other books. Ohh yea, is this Book series going to become a movie.? It definatley should! it would kill the movie theaters (in a good way) Also so many books beome movies so this opne has to become one~!!! it would fufill almost every dream i have a bout this book!
Thanks for keeping us all in tune
bye!
