The winner of the poll is “Moulin Rouge”! (Never fear – we’ll watch the other films eventually.) But for now, we must prepare to go gloriously, blissfully 100% over the top with Baz Luhrmann, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Brush up your top hats; fluff your feather boas. Thursday night, beginning at 8:30 CST, we watch together on Twitter! Prepare to snark, but with love – I only watch movies with you guys that I love. (I’d never subject you to a turkey, I promise.)
As always, remember, if I suddenly vanish during the show, that means I have been thrown in Twitter jail but will return when they least expect it. I will be reading all your comments either to me or with the hashtag #moulinrouge; I’ll answer and/or retweet mostly after the movie, due to fear of the aforementioned twitter jail, but I LOVE hearing your thoughts.
