Witches and Wizards, may I have your attention please?

Posted on October 23, 2013

First, congrats to the winner of a signed copy of AFTERLIFE — way to go, Kori W.! Just for guessing where “The Traveling Story” might lead, she wins an autographed copy. And yet there are still more prizes to be had —

As you guys might know, my SPELLCASTER novella, “The First Midnight Spell,” will be released (in electronic format only) on November 5, which is coming right up! (You can click through and buy right here: http://www.amazon.com/The-First-Midnight-Spell-Spellcaster-ebook/dp/B00C9AO94C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382570674&sr=8-1&keywords=the+first+midnight+spell). I know you’re curious about how Elizabeth’s story began, if you’ve already read SPELLCASTER … and if you haven’t, maybe you’d like to get a taste of what that world is like, which the novella gives you a chance to do. So here’s our contest:

1) Pre-order “The First Midnight Spell” and take a picture/screen grab to prove it. (If you’ve already pre-ordered, first of all, God bless you, and second, you should be able to pull that up for a pic.)

2) Either tweet me the pic on Twitter (my link is here on the site!); link me to your blog/Tumblr/wherever you might have posted it, as a comment to this blog entry; or email it to evernightclaudia at gmail dot com.

3) Do these things by November 4, and one of you will win an autographed copy of the ARC for STEADFAST! Yes, that’s right, one of the very first copies going out to anyone anywhere ever can be yours.

However you contact me to show off the picture, be sure to attach a way for me to contact you when you win!

**

The prizes don’t stop there, either. If you’re around tonight (which is to say, Wednesday, October 23), at 8 pm CST, we’ll be watching “Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone” together via the magic of Twitter. Use the hashtag “#hpss” for your comments! As always, I will be reading your replies and thoughts, and will answer as much as I can — but I have to be careful, lest I be thrown into dreaded Twitter Jail. If you watch along, and at the right moment tweet “GRYFFINDOR WINS THE HOUSE CUP!” (hashtagged, of course), one lucky winner will get a copy of Rae Carson’s THE BITTER KINGDOM, the absolutely smashing conclusion to “The Girl of Fire & Thorns” series. YOU KNOW YOU WANT THIS. So I hope you play along?
