Sorry I am so behind on posting — I knew that I had some appearances coming up (and soon!), but I didn’t get all the dates locked down until recently.
First things first: Although I was late in picking (at random) the winner of STARGAZER Contest #7, the lucky winner has now been chosen. Congrats to Sarah W.! She posted about the EVERNIGHT series at “Twilight Teens,” and now she gets to name a character, either in AFTERLIFE (book four) or the spin-off Balthazar book, her choice. I look forward to finding out the name. 🙂
Now, upcoming appearances!
May 28 — The NYC Teen Author Carnival! Held at the Jefferson Market Branch Library at 425 Avenue of the Americas [at 10th St.] in New York City from 4-6 p.m. You’ll be able to meet tons of other YA authors; check out the full line-up at the event website.
Then comes the Supernatural Summer Tour! I’m on two stops, along with authors Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong and Aprilynne Pike:
June 5 — Portland, OR, at the Barnes & Noble on 2692 Madison Rd. @ 7 p.m. (This is a Friday.)
June 6 — Redmond, WA, at the Borders on 16549 N.E. 74th Street @ 2 p.m. (This is a Saturday.)
Then, it’s time to promote Vacations From Hell! All five authors in the anthology (which is coming out next week — where did spring go?) will appear: Libba Bray, Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson, Sarah Mlynowski and yours truly. Where and when?
June 9 — New York, NY, at Books of Wonder. Time TBA, but I’m guessing 7 p.m. or thereabouts, and will update as necessary.
Finally, the fabulous Elizabeth Scott and I are doing an event together just outside of Washington, D.C.:
June 27 — Tyson’s Corner, VA, at the Barnes & Noble @ 1 p.m.
Whew! I am going to be very tired, but I hope I get to meet a lot of you guys there.
