Hello there, Floral Park Memorial — plus "The First Book" interview

Posted on May 13, 2008

You are probably wondering, “Who are these attractive, savvy, fabulous people?” They would be some of the students (along with librarian/super-organizer Mrs. Rosenbloom, who is holding Evernight, and Mrs. Gray, my long-lost cousin) that I spoke to at my very first school trip to Floral Park Memorial. A great time was had by all. I mean, they gave me snickerdoodles. That is how fabulous they are.

If you’re interested, you can read what I think is my very first blog interview up now at The First Book. Check it out!

Also, don’t forget Evernight Contest #5, in which one lucky winner gets a $100 gift certificate and four more will get $25 gift certificates. All you have to do is tell me your favorite fictional school.

Word is that CBS has canceled “Moonlight.” That network is on my list. Grr.

It was cheesy, but it was still good cheese!
    Oh, well.

Did you like Moonlight???? I tried really, really, really hard to like it, but couldn’t. I think the girl MC got on my nerves and every time St. John vamped out, I cringed.

I think I’m going to have to stick with vamps in books. 🙂

I haven’t actually seen Moonlight coz I live in New Zealand but I’ve heard it’s good! I hate it when networks cancel good shows and bring back not so good ones! Or when they move shows to really bad times! In NZ, I guess the most popular channel would have to be Channel 2, and it has most of the popular tv shows. A few years ago, in the early seasons of Smallville, it used to be on at a good time. (I think it was around 7.30-8.30 on Saturday) And once there was a ‘steamy’ episode so on the ads it said they were playing the episode later because of that. They gradually pushed all the episodes back to 9.30 then 10.30 then 11.30. And people obviously stopped watching, which I think is a shame.

Gosh, I’m in that picture! (the tall, pale one next to Ms. Gray…)

I’m glad you enjoyed the snickerdoodles…

I found your website because someone linked to the ‘First book’ site. It sounds like a great book! I can’t wait until it comes out in the UK, so I can get a copy!
