Evernight Contest #1!

Posted on April 14, 2008

Yes, as of now, it’s only six weeks until Evernight hits bookstores. To celebrate, and hopefully to get the word out, I’ll be holding a contest a week (Monday to Sunday), with different prizes each week. The contests will be as different as the prizes: some weeks, all you’ll have to do is throw your hat in the ring; others, I’ll be asking for your opinions on the greatest vampires/love stories/etc. of all time.

This week, though, I’m not asking you questions. You’re asking me.

Although I have received several questions for the FAQ section of my site, I need more. So, all you have to do to enter this contest is ask a (usable) question using the form here. Don’t forget to include your e-mail address in the form! I’ll pick one of the entries at random, and the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Plenty of cash to buy, oh, Evernight. And Stargazer. And other books, too.

So fill out the form, ask a question — anything non-obscene, really — and enter the contest! And please spread the word; the more the merrier.

Thank you so much, Siren! I’ve gotten a lot of questions, and I know you’re a big part of the reason. 🙂

Hi. I sent a question. Just thought I’d let you know.

And if it counts for anything, I learned about the contest from Story Siren’s blog!

I can’t wait to read Evernight.

    :] *fingers crossed*

Thanks, Paige! Good luck with the contest, and I intend to post the answers to pretty much all the questions next week sometime.

    interview

    Hi again,

I meant to ask you this before-but I kinda forgot 🙂

When Evernight’s release is closer, Would you be interested in doing an interview over at Vita Dei? I know a lot of my readers are interested in it.

      Re: interview

Thanks for sending in a question, Jess! And I’d love to do an interview at Vita Dei — anytime in May would be great.

        Re: interview

Alrighty then 🙂 Maybe like the week before it’s release? That sounds like a good time, or we could do an interview earlier than that and I’ll just post it the week before. It’s up to you 🙂

          Re: interview

Let’s do the interview earlier so you can post it at your convenience in the week or two pre-release. Just e-mail me at evernightclaudia at gmail dot com, and we’ll take it from there. 🙂

I entered the contest, I heard about it on the Story Siren’s page. As a lot of other people have I see. I have been meaning to check out your blog since I heard about your book though. I hope you have a great turn out for the contest(s)!

    Contest!

Your book sounds so awesome and I cant wait to read it. Please sign me up for the contest, i’d love to win $50 for Barnes and Noble. My question would have to be, When thinking about your characters did they remind you or were they formed around someone you know or yourself?

Vivnow pointed me in this direction and I left you a question at your page.

Your book sounds really great! I wish you a lot of success!

    Awesome contest!

Hey Claudia! I just sent you a question (from Steph–the weird vampire question). Not too sure if you’ll use it or not, but it was the most unique I could come up with, so hey! 🙂

Can we ask more than one question? In case I come up with something a little less useless and a little more useful 🙂 (And even if it doesn’t count for this contest, I probably will anyway because questions are my game!)

Congrats on the soon-to-be release. I remember from AW when you posted that booksellers would be supporting your books on those displays and now the actual date is coming!

      Re: Awesome contest!

I think I have to stick to people only getting counted once this week, regardless of number of questions, but ask as many as you like!

I can’t believe the day is so close. It’s a little surreal.
